I am a fully qualified first aid trainer, enabling me to teach individuals, groups and workplaces the amazing skill of emergency first aid in adults, children and infants.

Parent/Carer Workshop

This 2-hour workshop focuses on paediatric first aid, aiming to arm new and expectant parents, as well as grandparents or carers, the ability and confidence to be able to deal with first aid emergencies should they ever arise.

This practical course teaches a range of first aid techniques suitable for newborns through to primary school aged children.

This course runs on the first weekend of every month.

What’s covered?

Learning the basics in life support for babies and children (and adults too), this workshop covers CPR, the use of AEDs, choking and more, including the awareness of meningitis and sepsis!

This course is available at your preferred location for up to 12 delegates.

Additionally, when you train at your own venue, you’ll also benefit from:

  • Times and dates can be tailored to suit you.
  • Great value for money! Usually, if you have more than 6 people to train an ‘in-house’ course works out better value.
  • No additional traveling or travel costs for your team.

Training Terms & Conditions

1. Booking & Payment

  • All training sessions must be booked in advance.
  • Payment is required before the start of the course, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Course fees cover the delivery of training on the scheduled date and time only.

2. Attendance

  • It is the responsibility of the client (employer or individual) to ensure that participants are available for the scheduled training session.
  • If a participant is unable to attend, the place is non-transferable to another date. Their place is forfeited, and no refund will be issued.

3. Rescheduling

  • If you wish to reschedule a full course (all participants), at least 7 days’ notice is required. A new date will be arranged subject to availability.
  • If fewer than 7 days’ notice is given, a rescheduling fee of 50% of the course fee will apply.

4. Missed Sessions / No Shows

  • If a participant misses the training (due to illness, holiday, or any other reason), the course fee remains payable.
  • To receive the training at a later date, a new booking will need to be made and charged at the standard course rate.

5. Travel & Additional Sessions

  • Course fees are based on one scheduled session.
  • If an additional session is required (e.g., to accommodate missed participants), this will be treated as a new booking and charged accordingly.
  • Where possible, clients may add extra participants to an additional session at the standard per-person fee.

6. Cancellations by Trainer

  • In the unlikely event that I need to cancel or reschedule a course (e.g., due to illness), a new date will be offered at no extra cost.
  • If no suitable date can be agreed, a full refund will be provided.

7. Certification

  • Certificates will only be issued to participants who attend and successfully complete the training in full.
